You must provide accurate details and keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us promptly at hello@blackfire.com.np if you suspect unauthorised access.

You keep all rights to the media you upload and the subtitles you create. You give us permission to store and process that content only to provide the service to you. You confirm you have the rights to upload it and that it does not break the law or infringe anyone else’s rights.

The same applies to fonts you upload for your captions: upload only fonts you own or are licensed to use, including in videos you publish. An uploaded font stays in your browser and is available only to your account; it is not sent to or stored on our servers, and you are responsible for following its licence.

Do not use LipiSub to upload unlawful, abusive or infringing material, to attempt to disrupt or reverse engineer the service, or to access other users’ data. We may suspend accounts that do.

Transcription uses prepaid credits (minutes of media). New accounts receive 2 free minutes, once, as described on our pricing. Videos with burned-in subtitles exported from an account that has not bought credits carry a small LipiSub logo; buying any credit pack removes it from later exports. Purchased credits do not expire. If a transcription fails, the credits it used are returned to your balance. Prices may change, but changes never affect credits you have already bought.

Subtitles are generated automatically and may contain mistakes. Please review them before publishing. The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.

You can stop using LipiSub at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or end access for breaches of these terms.

LipiSub uses open-source software and fonts, including the LAME MP3 encoder under the GNU LGPL. Their credits, licences and source links are in our third-party licences.

These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal. We may update them; continuing to use LipiSub after an update means you accept the new terms. Questions? Contact hello@blackfire.com.np.
